Back Home will be a road movie. On your journey, you will meet girls and women. They all have their own story. Some will help you to get back home, some will bring you further away from it. There’s a bit of mystery in it, too. Back Home is a story-driven game, where you don’t have to read long pages of text without the image ever-changing. I believe in “show, don’t tell”. The characters are all unique because I’ve created them myself.

Developer Notes:

Back home version 0.4.p2 includes episodes 1-10. Episode 10 covers the second part of day 4, hence the version number. In episode 10 you will finally deliver the Duck to its owner. You will meet the family of the owner and an unexpected guest. You will also interact with Robbie and perhaps a few characters you met before. If you want that interaction to be intimate, you should understand that you can be intimate with only one. Time is limited and you’re no superman.

If you read the hints provided in the game, you will know when it’s clever to save your game to explore other options. There may be minor differences in the game, depending if you took Hester’s or Shelly’s path and other choices you made. You won’t be able to check your phone for most of the game, so don’t forget to do so when you get the chance.

There is an easter egg in the game. It’s not difficult to find but easy to miss. You will find explanation in the end credits. The question related to the easter egg, as mentioned in the game, is available on Patreon and Discord until the end of Februari. As of this version, the beginning and the end of all episodes are indicated within the game. Where there were credits, players can choose to watch them or skip them. Please watch them if you like sexy pics of Robbie and Hanna. I’m still working on some old graphics-based menu’s, to change them into text based menus. That would make it easier to translate the game into other languages than English and Dutch. This process is not completed yet.
